Angels

Angels have many different meanings for everyone. My angel story started when my dear friend Ursula attached a ceramic angel ornament she made to her homemade stollen. I decided to put the angel in my hospital notebook along with our family pictures in the front cover.

Last night when I woke in the middle of the night, I decided to listen to Jack Johnson to help me get back to sleep. The last Song I heard was "angel.". Although this song is a love song to his wife, the sentiments in it so expressed my feelings toward you, my friends and family, that it actually brought tears to my eyes. It is because of you, *My Angels* my family and friends who watched over me, protected me and gave me the strength
To get through this ordeal. I feel so honored to have you in my life.

Emily

Here are the lyrics:

Angel
Jack Johnson

I've got an angel
She doesn't wear any wings
She wears a heart that can melt my own
She wears a smile that can make me wanna sing
She gives me presents
With her presence alone
She gives me everything I could wish for
She gives me kisses on the lips just for coming home

She could make angels
I've seen it with my own eyes
You gotta be careful when you've got good love
Cause the angels will just keep on multiplying

But you're so busy changing the world
Just one smile can change all of mine
We share the same soul
Oh oh oh oh oh ohhh
We Share the same soul
Oh oh oh oh oh ohhh
We Share the same soul
Oh oh oh oh oh ohhh
Oh oh oh oh oh ohhh
Umm umm umm uhhhhhhmm

  8. After re-reading my post, I saw I skipped writing the main sentence I had intended to end it with. ( I guess you could forgive that given I just had a bit of surgery... :-p ) anyway, I meant to convey that: * YOU * my friends and family, are *MY* angels who watched over me, protected me and got me through this. There, now my post is complete!!
    Love, Emily
