There is not a lot going on at the moment. The main thing is I have switched physical therapists. I am now going to a hand specialist. I continue to have more numbness and less control in my hand and arm. It is very frustrating as I can notice that things I was able to do a month or two ago, are now becoming increasingly difficult.
On the bright side I am much stronger than I was and am able to walk quite well, only using my cane when not at home. So for now I will work hard with my therapist and try to exercise to strengthen my hands and arms, which are becoming weaker.
Going to Sanibel for spring break and Michigan for Easter were nice changes of scenery after being home so much since November. We are looking forward to spending time at the cabin this summer.
More when there is more to say. :-)

Your hand and arm news sounds very frustrating, even with the encouraging improvement in walking. I know you're working your tush off, and I hope you're letting Bill love you up too! God Bless,

ReplyDeleteIt was great seeing you at church on Sunday. We were up front getting ready to sing when I saw you and Bill come in. You were moving so much faster than I remember seeing you last time!! I left right after we sang since I'd already sung for the first service, so didn't get to say hello. We continue to think of you and send healing thoughts and much love. We were especially glad to hear the results of the Mayo visit. Cathy keeps us updated regularly on the interim reports.
